Reason for arrival: Leonard was surrendered due to change of circumstance. He arrived obese and with matted fur around his back end/legs. He had this shaved off at the vets to start fresh and he's losing weight nicely on a hay & forage diet. He won't be ready to leave until he's lost more weight

Temperament with people: Friendly, easy to handle for care, nail trims etc

Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoy dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. 

 

Type of home needed: He currently lives outdoors but could live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. He's currently single so needs a rabbit partner
